The committee, with fewer helpers, reduced events, but put effort into the Gala Day & Parade & Crowning of Queen on the 25th.
Next year's event will depend on good support from the community.

The Community Centre where the group meet at Castlepark is active weekly with a list of Community Groups from Parents & Toddlers, Dancing Schools, Sewing Groups, Computer Class, Boys Football, Gingerbread Group, Cookery Class, Karate Class. This Community Based Group, active for over thirty years, is based at Castlepark Community Centre, Irvine. The group, mainly volunteers, support the Community Centre and organise an annual Gala Day.
