The books and reading schemes shown here are surplus to requirements from nursery and primary schools. The photo shows only some of the books which the Club has gathered. See the thanks page for the names of those who donated the books.
They
will be shipped to Malawi groups to be visited this summer by Louise, as President
of the Altrusa International Club of Ayr, shown on the right with the books
just before they were handed in at the airport (on the scales, below).
The five recipients will be St Peter's Primary, Lunangwya Primary, Mary Martha
Orphan Group, St Peter's Orphan Group, and St Peter's Secondary.
