Burns Club and Museum
This site is in sections, like rooms - either wander over the picture of 'Wellwood' and click on a topic or choose from the menu on the left. The 1903 building has been our home since 1962. The links do not represent its internal plan.

Robert Burns lived and worked in Irvine in 1781-82, and two of the founders of Irvine Burns Club in 1826 were men who had known the poet - see the section on our History for more detail. Our museum at 'Wellwood' is open four times weekly from April to September, and weekly on Saturdays during the winter.
