| I am doing my husbands family history and have noted with interest a few Longmuirs that have been past Presidents of the club. I was wondering if there is any information that could be past onto me regarding Alexander 1865, James 1892, and R.F. Longmuir 1901/02. With Thanks Cathy Longmuir Australia

| Hi, I checked the link on your Latest News page to the Burns Artist Maureen Monteith (www.edinburghartist.co.uk) and found that not only does she have some great Burns prints (limited edition sets) but does some great landscape work in Ayrshire. I just thought the light shining thorugh on her pictures was so brilliant I'd like others to see it.
Cheers
Steven

| I had the pleasure of visiting the above premises together with Mr Jim Dempster, Uplawmoor, and my wife. It was an unforgettable occasion and we thank you sincerely for your hospitality. In addition to the historical fact conveyed to us we enjoyed to listen to and see two school children presenting Robert Burns poems.
